Artists and Food Vendors invited to Illinois River Wine, Art, & Jazz Festival In Manito
The Illinois River Wine Trail and the Village of Manito are hosting the Illinois River Wine, Art, & Jazz Festival on Saturday, May 23rd from 11:00am-8:00pm. The festival will be held at Manito's Memorial Park.
Eleven Illinois wineries will offer tastings and wine sales;
Willett's Winery & Cellar (Manito) August Hill Winery (Utica)
Kickapoo Creek Winery (Edwards) Mackinaw Valley Vineyard (Mackinaw)
Hill Prairie Winery (Oakford) Sleepy Creek Vineyards (Fairmount)
Collver's Family Winery (Barry) Prairie State Winery (Genoa)
Hailey's Winery & Vineyard (Byron)
Ridgeview Winery (Mt.Sterling)
Spirit Knob Winery (Ursa)
Numerous artisans will be displaying and selling their creations.
Jazz musicians for the day include David Berchtold Duo with Bill Schlipf on upright bass from 11:00am-2:00pm, Kevin Hart and the Vibe Tribe from 2:00-5:00pm, and Sally Weisenburg and the Famous Sidemen from 5:00-8:00pm. Local hot air balloonists will be present with balloon lift-offs at 5:00pm and "night glow" at approximately 8:00pm.
