Illinois Land Improvement Contractors to meet at City Centre
PEORIA, IL - The Illinois Land Improvement Contractors Association will be hosting its 2010 Summer Meeting July 13-17, 2010 at the Holiday Inn City Centre.
Registration for the conference will be Tuesday through Thursday beginning at 7 a.m. Ladies tours of Manito and the Washington Square will be held all day Wednesday and Thursday, respectively. Industry seminars are set to begin Thursday, times TBD.
Friday's activities include the committee meetings from 8:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. and regional meetings from 2:15-3:15 p.m. There will be a Caterpillar dinner for all members at 6 p.m. Friday, which will include a hog roast and live equipment demonstration.
The weekend will finish off on Saturday with a budget meeting and board meeting beginning at 9:15 a.m. and going until lunchtime. After lunch, all attendees are invited to Kartville for some fun activities. Saturday at 6 p.m., conference participants can attend Casino Night at the Holiday Inn City Centre. Attendees will play a variety of casino card games and will be given fake money to bid on prizes throughout the evening. Both the Caterpillar dinner and Casino Night are included in the registration price for participants.
The PACVB represents an eight county region including Bureau, Fulton, Marshall, Mason, Peoria, Stark, Tazewell, and Woodford. The organization's mission is to promote the Peoria Area as a destination for visitors and contribute to the economic growth of the communities they represent.

The Illinois Land Improvement Contractors Association will create an economic impact of $42,250 - $64,675 and 325 room nights for the Peoria Area. There will be approximately 100 attendees.
