Overview
The Peoria Rivermen, AAA affiliate of the NHL's St. Louis Blues, compete in the American Hockey League (AHL), which is the primary professional developmental league for all NHL prospects. In addition to the premier level of professional or collegiate sports between St. Louis and Chicago, the Rivermen are "More Than Just Hockey!" Each season, the Rivermen host celebrity appearances with stars from various Disney and Nickelodeon show, in addition to high-profile Christian and Country acts.
Serving Central Illinois for 27 seasons, the Rivermen play in Carver Arena at the Peoria Civic Center.
