Experience a bit of Napa Valley, or what locals call “Wine Country in their Own Backyard” at Mackinaw Valley Vineyard just a short drive from Chicago located between Peoria and Bloomington. Enjoy the 30 mile panoramic view from the tasting room. Visit and learn more about hosting a wedding, reception, reunion, party or corporate event at the vineyard. We always offer 3 complimentary tastings of any of our 20 wines. For a behind-the-scenes look at wine making you can schedule a tour and tasting on weekdays or Sunday afternoons. This features a tour of the vineyard, wine making room and a formal wine tasting and Q & A with the winemaker. The tour and tasting is $5 per person with a 10 person minimum of or $50 fee. The program is scheduled two weeks in advance and takes about 60 minutes. Saturday evenings, June through September, attend a Concert in the Vineyard featuring local classic rock bands for a $5 cover from 7-11pm. You bring a picnic and we provide the fun! Pizzas, Ropp Cheese and Crackers and chocolates are available for purchase. Deck seating is available by reservation for large and small groups for a fee. There are four annual Festivals: The International Music, Wine and Beer Festival, May 25 & 26, The Art and Wine Festival July 21, Vintage Vines & Wines Traveling Festival August 4 and The Grape Stomp and Harvest Festival on September 1.
