The General Wayne A. Downing International Airport is a very convenient way to access the Peoria Area. Long term parking is free and you can pick up a Peoria gift or book at the gift shop. Service by five different airlines with direct flights to nine cities, PIA is quick and dependable. The Peoria Area is easily accessed by Interstate 74, running east and west, and the nearby Interstate 55, which runs north and south.
