The General Wayne A. Downing International Airport is a very convenient way to access the Peoria Area for visitors. Long-term parking is free and the airport is serviced by five different airlines with direct flights to ten cities. Peoria is easily accessed by visitors on Interstate 74, running east and west, and Interstate 55, which runs north and south. There are many ways to visit our various communities and attractions, or enjoy your journey to the Illinois River Road National Scenic Byway for an authentic experience of the region.
