Happy Hour 5k – The Happy Hour 5k kicks off the Irish Fest weekend! Walk or jog along a flat course following the Illinois River, and bring all your friends! The 5k admission ticket includes entry for Friday and two beverages. Registration before 8/26 is $35.00 and on 8/26 is $40.00.
Highland Games – The Irish Fest isn’t exclusive to those of Irish descent, made obvious by the Scottish Highland Games! The games take place on Saturday with a $25.00 registration fee. Fuel your inner competitive nature with Braemar Stone, Caber Toss, Sheaf Toss, and Weight Over Bar games!

Tasting Room – Enjoy Irish whiskey the “right” way at the Tasting Room, located on the third floor of the Gateway Building, near Vince’s Whiskey Terrace. Tasting sessions will be on Friday (3:00p) and Saturday (3:00p and 7:00p). Tickets can be purchased upon entering festival grounds. The Tasting Room is even offering classes with registration information available at any of the on-site pubs.
Wee Folks – On Saturday and Sunday from 12:00p - 5:00p, there will be activities and games open exclusively for kids! Parents, watch your wee folks create crafts, get their faces painted, jump around in a bounce house, and more!
Cultural Village – The root of the Peoria Irish Fest is the celebration of Irish culture and history, all of which can be enjoyed in the Cultural Village! A few highlights include Ancient Order of Hibernians, Friends of Clonmel (Ireland Sister City), and a plethora of exhibits!

Sunday Mass – Irish culture is largely influenced by Catholicism, which is celebrated at Peoria’s Irish Fest! The Catholic Diocese of Peoria will celebrate the Peoria Irish Fest Annual Liturgy for Peace & Justice at the North Stage. Music will begin at 10:00a, followed by the service at 10:30a.
Free admission Sunday 9:30am – 11:00am for anyone wearing a kilt or bringing a donation for the canned food drive!
