If you and your significant other are looking for new restaurants to try out for date night, then you’ve come to the right place! Whether you’re wanting a more romantic candle-lit dinner or a casual and fun atmosphere, these restaurants won’t disappoint!

Jim's Bistro

If you love steak, then this is the place for you! Jim’s Bistro offers an unforgettable fine dining experience with a selection of fine, dry-aged steaks cut in-house. It also offers seafood, pasta, salads, and more for those that aren't a big fan of steak. Jim’s is also conveniently located in Peoria Heights, so it’s only a walk away from an evening stroll in Grandview Drive or late-night drinks at the 12 Bar.

Fish House

If seafood shipped in from all over the world isn’t enough to convince you to eat at the Fish House, then I don't know what will! The Fish House has been a staple in Peoria for over 40 years, and has always served the freshest seafood dishes that have been flown in from Chile, Hawaii, Canada and more! Its dimly lit and intimate space is perfect for a romantic evening full of good food and fine wines.

Thanh Linh

Known for its big portions and authentic Vietnamese cuisine, this restaurant is perfect for date night! It’s relatively cheap compared to the other restaurants we recommended and you will definitely get your money’s worth in terms of portion sizes. Its Pad Thai and Lemongrass Chicken are a couple of our favorite dishes, and the portion is so huge that it’s easy to share with your date!

Cyd’s In The Park

This restaurant offers a unique and memorable experience with its beautifully lit patio and delicious food! It’s perfect if you’re looking for a more casual and laid-back spot that is still intimate and romantic. Cyd’s host live music on the weekends and even offer a bonfire at nighttime for a cozy and relaxing experience. Be sure to try the pretzel bites with kimchi pimento cheese and crudité as it's one of our favorite items on the menu!

Osaka Hibachi & Sushi Bar

Skip the movie and go to Osaka instead! Not only will you eat excellent Japanese cuisine but you will also be a part of an exciting cooking experience! At Osaka, the best part of dinner is the Hibachi experience, where food is cooked right in front of you by chefs who enjoy showing off their knife skills and skilled maneuvers. It also serves sushi if you’re looking for a more typical restaurant experience. One of our favorite sushi rolls is the Peoria Roll!
