KBSTRONG - Fighting the Fight was created upon the passing of Coach Kevin Brown of Washington, IL.  Their mission is to raise awareness for the dreadful disease that took his life at the age of 50, Glioblastoma.  KBSTRONG is committed to making a difference and helping people with Glioblastoma, which is what Kevin wanted to do.

With money raised through fundraisers, such as Brownest, KBSTRONG has given $80,000 to research at the University of Illinois College of Medicine Peoria.  They have also given 8 financial grants, Warrior Funds, to local patients battling Glioblastoma and recently started a group called HEROES (Honoring Each, Remembering Ours, Expanding Support).  HEROES is focused on patients and their loved ones, as well as those who have lost to this aggressive and terrible brain cancer.

Kevin Brown was an intense basketball coach, demanding the best of his players and himself. There was also a fun and relaxing side to Kevin, which typically included live music and definitely friends.  That is what BrownFest is all about.  To learn more about the KB Strong Foundation or to make a donation visit
