The Peoria Civic Center in downtown Peoria brings some of the country’s biggest stars to rock the Heart of Illinois. Summer Camp Music Festival at Three Sister’s Park in Chillicothe is a festival-goer’s dream for the past 20 plus years every Memorial Day weekend. Looking for something more intimate? Mackinaw Valley Vineyard, Kelleher’s on Water and Martini’s on Water Street are all known to host local bands on the weekends during the summer months so you can try some fantastic food and drinks and tap your toes. 

Classical music more your speed? Peoria is home to the 14th oldest symphony in the country, the Peoria Symphony Orchestra! For 125 years, the Peoria Symphony Orchestra presents excellent live musical performances, innovative music education programs, and engaging community outreach efforts, which significantly impact the cultural life of Central Illinois. This professional orchestra was founded in 1897 and attracts world-renowned artists as guest soloists.
