Join us at the Live @ Five Points Event Center every 2nd Sunday of the month for a night of incredible, local jazz music.

This month, on February 13, we welcome the Washington Community High School Jazz Band and the Knox College Cherry Street Combo for a full afternoon of jazz.

Doors open at 2:30pm with Washington Community High School’s Jazz Band Performance beginning at 3 pm, followed by Knox College Cherry Street Combo’s main stage performance starting at 4 pm.

Tickets are $5 each and provide access to both performances. Tickets are available online through Eventbrite and can also be purchased at the door.

Washington Community High School's jazz band is a co-curricular ensemble under the direction of Jim Tallman.

The Cherry St. combo is the premier jazz combo at Knox college and has hosted jazz every Thursday night in Galesburg for nearly 30 years! Directed by Andy Crawford, The Cherry Street Combo is by audition only. The combo performs professionally at various community and college events and the ensemble also tours yearly. Most recently, the combo released a professionally recorded CD, Patchwork.

We will have a fully stocked bar, complete with drink specials and specialty cocktails from 2:30-3:00 pm and again following the high school's performance until 6:00 pm. Bottled water and soft drinks will be available throughout.

This Jazz Series is made possible by sponsorships from: WACC Friends of the Arts.
