Jay Goldberg Events & Entertainment, presenters of Peoria Blues & Heritage Festival, have revealed that due to challenges created by the pandemic, the annual Blues Festival held along the Peoria Riverfront will take a hiatus in 2021. The festival is planning to return over Labor Day Weekend of 2022 where music fans across central Illinois and beyond will be able to enjoy a weekend filled with talented national and local artists.

“We always strive to provide the best experience that we can, and due to a variety of circumstances presented with the initial uncertainty as a result of the pandemic, and the shortened timeline to try and put the event together, we are not confident that we could meet that standard this year. We hope that you will be able to join us for our return over Labor Day Weekend 2022.”
