Gilberto Fuentes remembers cooking alongside his mother while growing up in Michoacan, Mexico, and it’s those memories that pushes him to continue sharing those recipes and his love of cooking today. Carrying on the family traditions through food is what he cherishes each and every day.
Peoria is the city he chooses to keep his mother’s traditions alive. Gilberto considers his life in Peoria to be joyful and fulfilling. “We have a great city and great neighbors,” said Fuentes. Gilberto supports local farmers and aims for the freshest ingredients he can buy. “My customers deserve the best and we have an abundance of great choices,” said Fuentes. His greatest satisfaction comes from the support the community has given him over the last decade.
